Most K-12 students participate in Invention Convention program through their school or community organization. However, if none of those options are available, K-12 students in CT may participate as an Independent Inventor.
K-12 students may participate as an Independent Inventor only if they fall into one of these situations:
Important to Note: Any student given the opportunity to participate through their school, regardless of their grade, does not qualify to be an Independent Inventor. If, for any reason, the school does NOT select the student to move on to our state events, then the student may NOT register as an independent inventor.
We have several options for independent inventors to participate. Whether your inventor would like to work completely on their own, utilize our activities and resources, or participate in a virtual club, we have an option for you! See below for current offerings and details.
Not sure which program is right for you? Reach out to us! We would love to work with you.
