Ready to Volunteer as a Judge?

Judges play a key role for budding inventors with their first taste of reality – "Will someone other than my Mom and Dad think this is a really great idea like I do?"

Judges are a key part of the whole experience - starting with the local school and/or district events to the CIC State Finals Events. For these young inventors, meeting and presenting to judges is the pinnacle of their invention process.  We value each and every judge who is a part of the Invention Convention. Being a CIC judge is a fulfilling and worthy experience.  It's something judges tell us they look forward to each year.  It's as much an event for the judges as it is for the students.

2020 Connecticut Invention Convention State Finals UPDATE

In light of the unprecedented coronavirus (COVID-19), the event will now be held entirely ONLINE.

The wellbeing and safety of our inventors, parents, educators, volunteers, sponsors and partners is of paramount importance.  In the coming weeks we will announce details of how the online competition will operate, and will communicate these details on our website and social media, as well as directly to our community. We appreciate your understanding and for your continued support of CIC.  Stay safe!
