CIC hosts and attends many events for teachers and students, and is a frequent presenter at conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and seminars.

Especially for Teachers

Teacher Professional Development (PD) is a key component to running a successful invention education program in a school or club setting. CIC offers a variety of introductory classes as well as advanced topics in the Fall of each school year.  PD can be customized for a whole district or larger groups of teachers.

CIC presents at various conferences such as CSTA and exhibits at STEM-related events such as the Connecticut STEM Conference.

Especially for Students

Students that participate in a CIC program and selected by their teachers are eligible to attend a CT State Final Event. Some students are then selected to progress to Invention Convention Worldwide (ICW) at The Henry Ford (THF) Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, MI.
