Ready to Volunteer as a Judge? Click here to register.

Judges play a key role for budding inventors with their first taste of reality – "Will someone other than my Mom and Dad think this is a really great idea like I do?"

Judges are a key part of the whole experience - starting with the local school and/or district events* to the CIC State Finals Event, held at UCONN in Storrs.  For these young inventors, meeting and presenting to judges is the pinnacle of their invention process.  We value each and every judge who is a part of the Invention Convention. Being a CIC judge is a fulfilling and worthy experience.  It's something judges tell us they look forward to each year.  It's as much an event for the judges as it is for the students.

*Local schools/districts in your area may need judges for their events which take place in the months before the CIC State Final. As we receive requests for judges, we'll post the dates and locations here, along with specific contact information for that school/district.

The Judges section helps you learn what it means to be a judge. We hope you will not only take that step towards becoming a judge, but do so each year.
