WE'RE GROWING AND GROWING...TWO CIC FINALS, NEW LOGO/WEBSITE,  and NATIONALS DATES!

Over 1,200 K-12 Connecticut inventors participated in the 2019 CIC State Finals at UCONN. It was an incredible, but long day!  In response to the feedback of our parents, teachers, judges, and event host to maintain a high quality event for our amazing inventors, without reducing the number of student participants, we will hold two CIC Finals Events in 2020.

CIC FINALS DATES:

March 29 - CIC Finals 1 will be held at the Pitt Center, Sacred Heart University, Fairfield for all schools located in the Litchfield, New Haven, and Fairfield counties.

May 2 - CIC Finals 2 will be held at the Gampel Pavilion, UCONN, Storrs for all schools in the Hartford, Middlesex, New London, Tolland and Winham counties.
Stay tuned for more info...

CIC NEW LOGO and WEBSITE

Sometimes, you just have to admit that it's time to upgrade your style, and CIC's is LONG overdue! Stay tuned for the launch of our new, updated website.  Many thanks to our summer intern, Gabriel Mesa, we have a responsive, updated look.  Our current logo is a beloved brand and we hate to change, but it is a difficult design to embroider on hats, print on tee shirts and gifts, so we've opted for a vibrant logo to go along with our new site.

As interest in invention education grows across more states and now countries, the former NATIONAL INVENTION CONVENTION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP EXPO (NICEE) is now called INVENTION CONVENTION US NATIONALS,  part of Invention Convention Worldwide (ICW).

US NATIONALS DATES:

Date: June 1 - 3, 2020
Location: The Henry Ford Museum of Innovation
Who: By invitation only to select students from BOTH CIC FINALS Events.
